Refund Policy
StarlitSeas LLC (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") establishes the following policy regarding cancellations and refunds for services provided by the Company. [Basic Policy] The services provided by the Company are service-based, including reservation-based photography, interpretation, local experience support, and nature observation. Due to the nature of these services, refunds due to customer convenience after the service has been provided will not be accepted in principle.

Cancellation fees: Free up to 7 days before the participation date / 6 to 3 days before: 30% / 2 days before to the day before: 50% / On the day or no-show: 100%. If specific conditions are stated on individual service pages, those terms take precedence. We cannot refund booking deposits due to customer circumstances; however, in the event of cancellation due to our judgment, poor weather, or safety reasons, we will accommodate you with a schedule change or a refund.
Cancellations due to Bad Weather or Natural Conditions
If we determine that services cannot be provided due to typhoons, bad weather, or safety reasons, we will handle the situation by rescheduling, changing to a different service, or issuing a refund. However, refunds based on natural conditions such as starry skies or wildlife sightings are generally not accepted. Please note that significant delays or no-shows without prior notice will be treated as same-day cancellations and are non-refundable.
Regarding special circumstances and refund methods
In principle, cancellations due to poor health are considered customer-initiated; however, if a medical certificate is provided, we will review the situation accordingly. In the event of flight or ferry cancellations, we will handle cases individually upon presentation of proof. Refunds will generally follow the original payment method; for bank transfers, fees will be deducted. Bank transfer fees, payment processing fees, and transportation costs are non-refundable. This policy is subject to change as necessary.
